STUDIO ARCHIVIO FOR LINEAPIU' HISTORICAL ARCHIVE

The garments of the new set-up inside the Lineapiù Historical Archive are part of the STUDIOARCHIVIO's archive fund: opened in 2008, it is a well-established knitwear and woven archive, based in Reggio Emilia, Italy. The Archive proudly possesses over 22.000 garments; its uniqueness, reflects the personality of the founder and owner Adele Chiarabini, with over 40 years of experience in the field, collaborating with professionals of the “made in Italy” and the international fashion scene.

The core of the archive is indeed, knitwear: counting a broad range of different garments, workmanships and stitches; including jacquard, inlay weaving, padded and exceptional patterns seeking the latest technology and innovation in the field. The archive counts many well-known brands including Armani, Celine, Dior, Chanel, Comme des Graçons, Y. Jamamoto, Lanvin, Prada, Missoni, Margiela, Romeo Gigli, Jil Sander, Gucci and many more.

Here designers and professionals could find the inspirations and tools necessary to create new and innovative collections.

The collaboration with the Lineapiù Historical Archive, realized through the new layout inside the museum space already rich in material, stems from the need to make these creations a further research tool and to share with a entity such as STUDIOARCHIVIO the deep knowledge of the market.

The garments, which will change basing on the set up, will remain at Lineapiù Italia until January 2024
